Introducing Select Studio: Built With Intention
Today is officially launch day for Select Studio’s new website!
It feels a little surreal to write that, mostly because this isn’t exactly the beginning.
My experience building and marketing businesses started back in 2016, when I had to learn how to market my own. From there came years of working within marketing agencies around the world, learning from teams and working with brands across different markets. By 2020, I had started taking on freelance projects of my own, which grew through referrals, relationships, side projects, and a lot of learning along the way. I have worked in over 22 different marketing agencies, big and small and finally feel like it’s time to build my own.
And today, Select Studio’s newhome on the internet is officially live.
I’ve spent the last several years working behind the scenes with businesses across different industries, markets, and stages of growth. I’ve worked with brands in New York, London, Copenhagen, small businesses, growing companies, and teams trying to figure out what comes next. Along the way, I’ve touched nearly every corner of digital marketing: websites, paid advertising, SEO, content, social media, strategy, client success, and all of the little pieces that somehow have to work together.
And if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that marketing doesn’t need to be more complicated. It needs to be more intentional.
So, Why Select Studio?
There are a lot of agencies out there.
Select Studio wasn’t created because I thought the world needed another one.
It was created because I kept seeing businesses stuck in the same position: they knew they needed marketing, but they didn’t necessarily know what they needed. New customers? Returning clients? Reputation management? SEO? A clearer brand?
Usually, the answer isn’t just one of those things.
And figuring that out shouldn’t require hiring five different people or signing an enormous agency contract with set packages.
I wanted to create something that could meet businesses where they are.
Sometimes that means building something from the ground up. Sometimes it means taking what already exists and making it better. And sometimes it simply means looking at the bigger picture and finally connecting all the pieces.
Less Noise. More Impact.
Marketing has gotten noisy.
There is always another platform to be on, another trend to follow, another algorithm to understand, and another person telling you what your business has to be doing. I’m much more interested in figuring out what actually makes sense for your business.
My goal is to offer digital marketing across web development and optimization, SEO, Google Business Profile and Local Services Ads, paid advertising, social media management, content creation, database marketing, and strategy.
But the service list isn’t really the point. The point is creating a marketing ecosystem where those things actually work together.
Because a great ad doesn’t do much if it sends people to a website that doesn’t convert. Great social content can only go so far if nobody can find you on Google. And having thousands of past customers sitting in a database means very little if you never speak to them again. Good marketing connects the dots.
Small Studio. Big Ideas.
I wanted Select Studio to feel intentionally boutique.
I like knowing the businesses I work with. I like understanding why they started, what they’re trying to build, what’s working, what isn’t, and what the next version of their business looks like. I don’t believe every client needs the same strategy, the same package, or the same roadmap. I definitely don’t believe marketing should feel like sending an email into the void and hoping someone eventually gets back to you.
Select Studio is meant to be collaborative, curious, creative, and quietly ambitious.
The goal isn’t to make the most noise. It’s to make the right impact.
There is still plenty I want to build, create, experiment with, and add to Select Studio—which might actually be my favourite part.
But for now, I’m incredibly excited to finally put a name, a website, and a little corner of the internet around something I’ve quietly been building for years.
Welcome to Select Studio.
